Day Twenty Three
I've opted to leave this one as a Guest Post from Turkey Butt. Considering we just pulled into the driveway, I'm more than a little peeved about our parking situation (again), it's 11pm and we rented some movies to watch - I don't think this post is going to happen tonight. Bear with us though. It will arrive one of these days! This is my life!
Pregnancy Humor
Turkey Butt just tried to kiss pumpkin through my belly. In order to do that he had to pull up my dress, then my tank top and then pull down my leggings. His comment to our unborn child: "Jesus Christ, she's trying to smother you!" Haha, I love this man! This is my life!

Day Twenty Two
Day 22 – A letter to someone who has hurt you recently
Honestly, I've got nothing. I cannot even think of anyone who has hurt me lately. Sorry guys, this might be a little lame but I'm pretty happy with the fact that no one has hurt me recently. What can I say? I love my life! Oh, and this is my life!

Salt.
I am saddened by the fact that I am now pregnant, but it's still frowned upon to drink KFC gravy. Actually I guess it's even more frowned upon than before. Sigh. One thing I know for sure though, this is one salt addicted baby. I assumed I'd be craving lots of sweet stuff but I can't get enough of the salt. I don't even buy many items salted for the baby's sake. I bought almonds, sunflower seeds and pretzels, all unsalted. But what did I crave? The one small bag of salted pistachios that I had bought as a treat. Go figure. This is my life!

Pregnancy Rocks!
Well, i've been sick and exhausted and constantly in pain of some sort for the last week. Thank you pregnancy and your damn hormones. That being said, I've got to admit that being pregnant rocks for millions of reasons. The love child of Turkey Butt and Elle is carefully growing in side my belly is the number one reason, of course. But if you'll indulge a moment of selfishness, it also creates the greatest comeback ever. Example:
Elle: I love you!
Turkey Butt: I love you more.
Elle: Impossible.
Turkey Butt: Nope.
Elle: I'm carrying our love child in my womb for the next nine months.
Turkey Butt: Good Point.
Aha, an automatic WIN! It works every time! :) This is my life!

Book Review
I got this one for Christmas from Turkey Butt. I knew it'd be a quick read so it had been staying around the bottom of my pile. But, while sick in bed all week, and after finishing the previous book (My Life as an Experiment by A.J. JACOBS) in a day, I thought it would be right up my alley. As with the last, I finished it in a day (it's a short read). It was a good mixture of the quotes that have become so popular and longer stories of Justin Halpern's upbringing with his snark, blunt and borderline rude father. I laughed out loud at many sections and would recommend it as a light read to someone with some time on their hands, and in need of a good laugh. Not as great as I expected but not mediocre either. As far as comedic books go, start with A.J. Jacobs and if you've got the time, throw in a little Justin Halpern. Or just tune into the TV show of the same name, same laughs and wit, but only half an hour of your time. This is my life.
Book Review
Such a great read! Sooooo hilarious. This is the second A.J. Jacobs book that I've read and I love his style of writing. He devotes his entire LIFE to his topics, with hilarious results. I honestly read this entire book in one day. Do yourself a favor, and pick it up! I happened across it a well known bookstore chain's "Sidewalk" Sale for $5. So glad that I did!!!!! This is my life.
